Farewell Hangout with Our Amazing Teacher
Today is a special day at our English center. What makes this day so special? It’s hard to describe the emotions each of us felt at that moment, but perhaps this is the right time to bid farewell to Mrs. Liz, our wonderful teacher, who is about to embark on a new journey in life. The farewell gathering took place in a joyful and warm atmosphere, with the presence of students from both IELTS Level 1 and IELTS Level 2 classes. Everyone brought meaningful gifts as a token of affection and gratitude for the teacher. These small, lovely gifts were not just items; they were also deep spiritual imprints that Mrs. Liz left in the hearts of each student. An essential part of the party was the photo booth activity, where we created memorable moments together. From radiant smiles to innocent expressions, each photo was a beautiful memory, preserving cherished moments. Feelings of nostalgia were inevitable among both students and teachers. But we also know that every farewell opens new doors. Wherever we go, the lessons, memories, and support from our teacher will always remain in our hearts. Mrs. Liz, we want to express this: “We will never forget you.” You have been an important piece in our journey, and you will always be remembered. Thank you for accompanying us, and we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. Until we meet again!
Games & Conversation in English: Learning and Playing Together
To kick off an exciting summer after a year of hard work, SpeakOut organized a fun-filled event at Timezone – the famous entertainment complex located in The Loop Center. This event was not only an opportunity for the children to relax and play but also a chance for them to bond and practice English naturally and effectively. Starting the Summer with Fun at Timezone The moment the students stepped into Timezone, they were captivated by the plethora of exciting games. The vibrant space, filled with dazzling lights and lively sounds, created an atmosphere of excitement. This outing was not just a reward for their hard work throughout the year but also a chance for the children to relax, recharge, and prepare for a promising summer. Learning and Playing The games at Timezone were carefully selected to provide fun while encouraging students to practice English in everyday communication situations. Games like racing, claw machines, ball toss, and various skill-based video games not only entertained the children but also provided opportunities for them to chat, discuss, and support each other in English. Communicating in such a relaxed and enjoyable environment helped the students feel more confident using their new language. Connecting Outside the Classroom The outing at Timezone was a chance for students to bond outside the classroom. They had the opportunity to meet new friends and build close relationships through group activities. The collaboration and team spirit in the games not only helped them understand each other better but also developed their teamwork and social communication skills. Enhancing Everyday English Communication One of the main goals of the event was to enhance the students’ everyday English communication skills. Through the games and activities at Timezone, the children practiced expressing ideas, exchanging information, and handling situations flexibly and naturally. Humorous stories, game strategies, and laughter made learning English more enjoyable than ever.
Dinner and English Conversation: Cultural Connection and International Communication
On the evening of May 31st, our English center organized a special event aimed at deep cultural connections. This evening was not just an ordinary dinner but also an opportunity for students and native teachers to interact, learn about Vietnamese culture and cuisine, and improve their English skills in a friendly and open environment. Journey Through the Culinary Cultures of Vietnam’s Three Regions The dinner was meticulously prepared with dishes representing the distinctive flavors of Vietnam’s North, Central, and South regions. Students and native teachers explored and savored the rich tastes of each region together. From Hanoi’s pho, Hue’s shrimp papaya salad, to Saigon’s fried rice, each dish was not only a culinary experience but also carried its own unique cultural story. Cultural and Culinary Sharing In the cozy ambiance of the dinner, students and teachers engaged in lively conversations about culture and cuisine. Stories about the preparation of the dishes, the cultural significance behind each one, and personal memories were shared. Native teachers were eager to listen and learn, while also sharing their own experiences with food and culture from their home countries. This exchange not only broadened everyone’s understanding of different cultures but also enriched their lives and knowledge. Connecting and Expanding Social Networks The event provided an excellent opportunity for students and native teachers to connect and bond, creating a joyful atmosphere that helped students feel more confident when speaking English. The intimate conversations and enthusiastic support from the teachers made students feel at ease, open, and more effective in their learning. This experience exceeded expectations, bringing joy and knowledge to all participants. It demonstrated that learning English is not confined to textbooks but is also about real-life experiences, cultural exchange, and human connection. We believe that such gatherings will continue to foster the spirit of learning and strengthen the bonds within our community of students and teachers at the center.

Group Research & Presentation
At SpeakOut, we believe in empowering students not only for personal success but also for better development as collaborators and communicators. One of the main ways we achieve this is through regular group research and presentation activities. In this article, we will explore fantastic ways for children to practice working independently as well as in groups, culminating in presenting the results of their own work or projects. Choosing Topics: Encouraging students to choose topics they are interested in stimulates intrinsic motivation and ensures they are personally invested in the project from the beginning. Whether it’s exploring the wonders of the universe, delving into historical events, or investigating environmental issues, the possibilities are endless. In addition, our teachers continuously innovate topics to encourage students to delve deeper into various aspects and expand their vocabulary. Research Skills: Conducting research is a fundamental skill, providing the perfect opportunity for students to practice searching and synthesizing information. From identifying reliable sources to synthesizing information, students learn to navigate the vast sea of information available to them, thereby enhancing their critical thinking skills. Effective Communication: Clear communication is the foundation of successful collaboration. Through presentations and lively debates, students learn to express their opinions, listen to their peers, and provide constructive feedback. These skills not only enhance academic efforts but also prepare them for future professional interactions. Creative Presentation Formats: The era of monotonous slideshow presentations is over! At SpeakOut, we encourage students to think outside the box and explore creative presentation formats. From interactive multimedia presentations to role-playing games and debates, students have the freedom to showcase their creativity while effectively conveying their research findings. This is also an excellent learning method to keep children engaged and to reinforce basic computer literacy skills, which will serve them well in future classes. Assessment and Reflection: Self-assessment and feedback from peers are essential parts of the learning process. After each presentation, students have the opportunity to reflect on their performance, identify strengths, and areas for improvement. Constructive feedback from peers encourages a culture of continuous development. By integrating group research and presentation activities into our curriculum, we not only nurture independent learners but also develop essential collaboration skills for success. At SpeakOut, every student has the opportunity to shine, both as individuals and as members of a motivated team. Together, we inspire curiosity, stimulate creativity, and empower the leaders of the future.
