Exploring Ukrainian Cuisine in Our Cooking Class

In our latest Cooking Class, students had the chance to dive into the culinary world of Ukraine by making traditional dumplings filled with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions.

Guided by teacher Katie, the class worked through each step of the process – from mixing the dough, shaping the dumplings, to carefully wrapping the filling inside. Despite the sticky dough and a few flour-covered fingers, our young chefs stayed fully engaged and enthusiastic throughout the session.

More than just a cooking activity, the lesson offered a unique opportunity to explore a different culture and practice English in an interactive and hands-on way. Through cooking, language, and laughter, we brought a small piece of Ukraine into the classroom – one dumpling at a time.
