Over the past few weeks, our classrooms have been transformed into cozy kitchens where students became little chefs in our exciting Cooking Class Series! Each session offered a unique chance to explore new recipes, develop practical skills, and learn about cultures through food. From fresh fruit desserts to flavorful Mexican dishes, students had the opportunity to try their hands at a wide range of recipes. They practiced chopping, mixing, rolling, and even flipping food on a hot pan—all while improving their English and teamwork skills. Some highlights included: 🍓 Mixed Fruit Desserts – Healthy and refreshing treats that helped students master knife skills and presentation.🌮 Mexican Quesadillas – A fun and cheesy dish that introduced students to international flavors.🍱 Other exciting dishes – From Asian-style snacks to creative food art, each session brought something new to the table. Beyond the kitchen tasks, students also practiced reading English recipes, following multi-step instructions, and working cooperatively in groups. The cooking classes were not just about food—they were about confidence, creativity, and connection. We’re incredibly proud of our young chefs and all the delicious memories we’ve made.
